普通工科院校四级后的教学由于缺乏系统的理论研究支持、教学目标定位不明、系统性与实用性兼具教材缺失,以及师资匮乏,造成学生四级后的英语学习基本中断。针对这些问题,普通工科院校大学英语教师应根据培养目标制定教学大纲;设置多元化的课程;加强师资队伍建设;完善教学评价体系。
The lack of systematic theoretical research supports the teaching of general engineering colleges and universities. The orientation of teaching objectives is unclear. Both systematic and practical deficiencies of teaching materials and the shortage of teachers have caused the basic interruption of English learning after the fourth grade. In response to these problems, college English teachers in ordinary engineering universities should be based on the training objectives to develop teaching syllabus; set up a wide range of courses; strengthen the construction of teaching staff; improve the teaching evaluation system.
