金刚石平整法是指依靠弹簧2的作用,使金刚石工具3以一定的压力压紧于被加工零件的表面上。当搪床主轴1旋转时,金刚石工具沿着零件的表面滑动,同时在金刚石工具尖端的接触区域产生应力。由此,零件表面发生微观的形变,而起到强化零件表层的作用(见图1)。在278型搪床上,采用OH037—103—67型金刚石工具(刃磨半径为2.5~3毫米)对“格斯”—51和“吉尔”—120汽车发动机比缸内工作表面进行平整加工。平整加工装置直接安装在搪床主轴1的刀头上。借助于调整螺钉6改变弹簧2的弹力来
