Comparing the cell physiology of human normal detrusor instability and unstable detrusor helps us to identify potential targets for drug therapy in patients with bladder dysfunction. Recently, great progress has been made in the study of the cellular activity of contractile and diastolic urinary bladder smooth muscle cells, especially the role of calcium and the mechanism of modulation. It is currently believed that some mechanisms of instability detrusor cells change the normal bladder function, but whether they are the cause of bladder dysfunction or secondary to bladder dysfunction remains to be further studied. To understand the unique cell damage of bladder dysfunction, will provide us guidance to show new drug targets and to develop new therapeutic approaches.
