Reginald Victor Jones passed away on December 17, 1997. During his lifetime from 1940 to 1945 he served as director of the Air Force’s scientific intelligence agencies and director of scientific intelligence of the British intelligence. His familiarity with physics made it possible for him to develop new systems and tactics of war that affected the entire course of World War II.
