Based on the Burgers model, a four-element nonlinear rheological model (FENR) is proposed. Its creep solution shows that it can characterize the creep of asphalt concrete until the whole process of destruction, and with the measured values are more consistent. In particular, the model provides the creep failure criterion σmax for asphalt concrete. The assumption of Hils and Brien is adopted, and the temperature stress is discretized. Based on this model, the prediction equation of pavement shrinkage temperature is deduced.
