甘谷县是一个以种植业为主的农业县。全县总耕地面积5.88万hm2,农作物常年播种面积6.92万hm2。其中粮食作物种植面积5.05万hm2,占总播种面积的73%。主要农作物有小麦、玉米、马铃薯、油菜、高粱、蚕豆、大豆、蔬菜、果树、药材和牧草。冬小麦为主要粮食作物,常年种植面积2.47万hm2左右,约占粮食作物总播面积的50%。从渭河川区到高山均有种植。主要分布在海拔1228～2000m范围内,属垂直分布。收获期起止时间2个月以上。夏季高海拔区的晚熟冬麦自生麦苗与早播冬麦苗交叉
Gangu County is a farming-based agricultural county. The county’s total area of 58,800 hm2 of arable land, perennial planting area of 6920000 hm2. Among them, the planting area of grain crops is 50,500 ha, accounting for 73% of the total sown area. The main crops are wheat, corn, potato, rape, sorghum, fava beans, soybeans, vegetables, fruit trees, herbs and pasture. Winter wheat as the main food crops, annual planting area of about 24700 hm2, accounting for about 50% of the total sowing area of food crops. From the Weihe River to the mountains are planted.
