This paper proposes a multiple-rejection LFSR architecture to reduce the power consumption of the built-in self-test (BIST). This structure suppresses test vector subsequences that do not contribute to the test by the distance between the vectors rather than the vector itself. The average internal Weighted Switching Activity (WSA) used to estimate power consumption decreased by 80.3% on average. In addition, another advantage of this structure is that with the increase in the number of suppression, the increase in area overhead is much smaller than other filtering and suppression techniques
