元旦——钟声,这个记忆中的情结,我是在1981年开始留下的,那时带了一批学生在苏、锡、常报社实习,元旦刚巧在苏州,与几个学生一起去寒山寺、北寺塔玩,当天给我的印象是成群结队的日本人对苏州寒山寺、北寺塔情有独钟,据说每年元旦、新年都要到这儿来听元旦钟声,几成盛况。后来我每年注意报纸、包括电视新闻,确实不仅日本人,我们中国人也开始习惯元旦听钟声的活动。
