Special Array Geometry and Flexible Array Output Signals The fourth-order cumulant matrix definition not only enables two-dimensional arrival direction estimation of multiple spatial signals without the need for peak search and automatic matching, but also greatly reduces the array aperture and suits any Gaussian noise environment. Computer simulation results confirm the feasibility of the method.
