【Abstract】The first time I saw “The Belt and Road Initiative”， it reminds me of the great conception of“one world one dream”. This strategy for China and for the Central Asian countries， is a great bridge， which links each other together， and promote a friendly and mutually beneficial cooperation between each other. Under the joint efforts of each country， we can achieve political communication， roads Unicom， trade unimpeded， currency circulation， as well as the unity of the people. It has extraordinary significance and practical value. While， at the same time， it is a double-edged sword and brings a lot of challenges.

1. Opportunities brought by “The Belt and Road”
First of all， driven by the economic globalization， the construction of “Silk Road economic belt” is an objective requirement to comply with this trend， which is conducive to promoting the flow of production factors among countries along the way， and to promoting the improvement of the international division of labor as well as the development of productive forces in various countries， providing wider development space for the economies of all countries.
Secondly， it is the embodiment of our adherence to the policy of opening up to the outside world， and on the basis of mutual openness and mutually beneficial cooperation， we can truly “bring in” and “go out”， thus to improve the level of open economy in China.
Thirdly， it is the inherent requirement of the development of market economy and is beneficial to strengthen regional cooperation， and to make full use of international and domestic resources and markets， achieving rational and optimal allocation of the resources. Taking the Central Asia and China’s Xinjiang as an example， the Central Asia is located in the inland， with traffic inconvenience and technological backwardness， though it has abundant of oil， natural gas and other natural resources， its industry is not developed. If they want to seek development， they have to “sell” their rich resources out. For us， not only our demand for energy resources is increasing， but also need to expand foreign economic and technological cooperation， seeking foreign markets， “The Belt and Road” just brings us great opportunities to achieve complementary advantages and brings us broad prospects for cooperation.
In short， the construction of “Silk Road Economic Belt” has important strategic value to promote China’s sustained and healthy economic development， not only conducive to the formation of a unified and open regional market system， but also conducive to the establishment of a mutual benefit and win-win situation， which optimizes the allocation of regional resources and promotes coordinated regional development. 2. Challenges brought by “The Belt and Road”
Firstly， “The Belt and Road” is the practice of “peace and development” （theme of the 21st Century）on the basis of common interests between China and the Central Asian countries. As an economic and political power， China must take much more responsibility to promote the unity with the countries in Central Asia， making each other good neighbors living in harmony， good friends with sincere and trustworthy， good partners with cooperation. To fulfill this responsibility， we must help them to achieve their interests， including the development of economy， improvement of people’s livelihood， and the solving of financial crisis， etc. From this sense， we must spend much more efforts to avoid interests confrontation and conflict between each other.
Secondly， “The Belt and Road” not only influences the development of our economy， but also our culture. As commercial trade provides an important way for the dissemination and exchange of culture， cultural diversity can be highlighted. However， in the process of cultural exchange， foreign culture will bring a lot of impact and influence on our traditional culture， it will hinder the “going out” of our own culture， and reduce its international influence. At the same time， the negative side of foreign culture will also affects our values， our outlook on life and on the whole world， thus reducing our cultural confidence.

As far as I’m concerned， it is a centripetal force making countries together， a driving force for political， economic and cultural exchanges and cooperation， as well as a leading force for the sustainable economic development in Asia.
