Before the Qin Dynasty, Tianlu was a small hut set up in the fields for temporary rest, storage and care of crops. The original Tianlu was small in size and simple in shape, and could not live in a long time. With the development of society, the meaning of Tianlu in the Han Dynasty expanded and gradually diverged, some of which still retained its original form, while others were given the function of public security vigilance by the government. The other part gradually evolved from temporary shelters to more stable residences The area, the area and the shape of the land were expanded to become the basis for the formation of a new natural settlement. This category of land was one of the realistic bases for Confucian scholars in Han dynasty to imagine the formation of land under the pre-Qin regime.
