东阳木雕自唐宋两代开始发展以来,在明、清两代进入鼎盛时期,其工艺之精湛、题材之丰富、构图之灵巧等诸方面的艺术造诣,均达到了前所未有的高度。进入现代社会,东阳木雕不仅没有实现技艺自身的超越,其艺术性反而在一定程度上陷入了停滞和僵化,其未来的生存也不容乐观。文章通过“取材、工具、工艺、程式、题材”五个方面的考析,并结合对东阳木雕现状进行考察,对这项传统手工艺作了初步的论述,旨在引起人们对东阳木雕的文化价值和艺术价值进行思考,并唤起人们对优秀传统手工艺保护的重视。
Since the Tang and Song dynasties began to develop, Dongyang Woodcarving has reached an all-time high when the Ming and Qing dynasties entered its heyday with superb craftsmanship, rich themes, and dexterous composition. Into the modern society, Dongyang woodcarving not only failed to achieve their own arts beyond, its artistic but to some extent into a stagnant and rigid, its future survival is not optimistic. Through the analysis of the five aspects of “drawing, tools, techniques, programs, subject matter”, and combining the investigation of the present situation of Dongyang wood carving, the article makes a preliminary discussion of this traditional handicraft in order to arouse people’s concern on the wood carving of Dongyang Cultural values and artistic values, and arouse people’s attention to the protection of outstanding traditional handicrafts.
