我国长江流域广大茶区,每年7～9月间,夏日炎炎,降雨量少,甚至无雨,地面水分蒸发量却很大,致使茶园土壤不能向茶树提供足够的水分,茶树生长发育受到抑制,幼龄茶树甚至整株枯死,鲜叶品质下降,减产减收。可见,旱害也是当前茶叶生产上急需解决的问题之一,为此,本刊记者走访了中国农业科学院茶叶研究所裁培研究室主任姚国坤。
The vast tea area in China’s Yangtze River valley runs from July to September each year with a bitter summer and little or no rainfall.
