Kyiv, the Soviet Union: laser treatment of cervical dysplasia (CED, carcinoma in situ) seems better than the thermal coagulation therapy. The Kavetskii Institute of Oncology, the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences in the Soviet Union, reported that laser therapy was able to recover patients without complications and had a low recurrence rate of 3 years after follow-up.
