幽默可引人发笑,是有效交流的润滑剂。课堂上合理运用幽默可以把严肃的、甚至有些枯燥的教学内容让学生愉悦地接纳。研究者认为借用幽默的语言及肢体动作能够促进学习者提升学习兴趣,属于一种英语中级学习阶段的良好方法,甚至是必不可少的方法。根据美国的一项调查研究结果,有近八成的受访者认为:教师所应具有的素质中,幽默感排在第二位,仅次于责任感。说明无论任何年龄段的学生,都对具有幽默感,并且可以引领课堂充满幽默
