作为当今世界文坛最重要的文学理论流派之一,美国黑人文学经历了漫长而曲折的发展历程。它的出现,使得美国文学拥有了更加广泛的民族精神和极其深刻的民主观念;它的发展壮大,在推动黑人奴隶的解放运动中更是起到了不可磨灭的促进作用。自19世纪中叶以来,随着社会环境和政治生活的不断变化,美国文坛涌现出了一大批杰出的黑人作家和优秀的黑人文学作品,在揭示黑人被奴役、被迫害的悲惨境遇的同时,生动地刻画出了黑人劳动者淳厚质朴的社会和感情生活,热情洋溢地歌颂了广大黑人奴隶不畏艰难、勇于抗争的斗争精神,其中最具代表性的有《汤姆叔叔的小屋》《飘》和《根》等。这些作品不仅蕴含了丰富的思想内涵,还具有着极高的艺术价值。文章仅以这三部小说为例,对美国黑人文学形象进行深入的剖析和研究,以期获得更多启示。
As one of the most important schools of literary theory in today’s literary world, Afro-American literature has undergone a long and tortuous course of development. Its emergence has made American literature have a broader national spirit and an extremely profound concept of democracy. Its development and growth have played an indelible role in promoting the liberation movement of black slaves. Since the middle of the 19th century, with the changing social environment and political life, a large number of outstanding black writers and outstanding black literary works have emerged in the American literary world. While revealing the tragic circumstances in which the blacks were enslaved and persecuted, they vividly Depicts the plain and simple social and emotional life of the black laborers and warmly praises the spirited and courageous struggle of the majority of black slaves. The most representative ones include “Uncle Tom’s Cabin”, “Gone with the Wind” and “Root” and so on. These works not only contain a wealth of ideological content, but also has a very high artistic value. Taking the three novels as an example, the article analyzes and studies the American black literary figures in depth with a view to gain more enlightenment.
