In general teaching, the four basic skills of English, that is, listening, speaking, reading and writing, are all separated from each other. Listening and speaking classes are usually set as two parallel courses without any effect at the same time. Commonly used teaching methods such as: Listening practice in listening class, the lack of targeted oral training; in oral class suddenly given a topic for students to imitate and practice. But no matter from the physical mechanism of human being or the actual process of communication, listening and speaking are all indivisible. During the teaching process, teachers find it easy to find that students who express their oral English often have good listening comprehension skills.
