本文试图通过分析当前我国英语教学中存在的“老三中心”、以知识教学为取向、教学方法单一和评价重心偏颇等问题 ,阐明现代英语教学改革的走势以及根据英语语言特征及学生学习特点、设法引起学生兴趣、注重设计教学情景、灵活运用教学策略、以学生应用语言的能力为评价标准和教师提高自身素质等方面提高英语教学效果的思路
