加入WTO(世界贸易组织)是我国积极参与经济全球化进程的重大战略步骤,也是进一步深化改革、扩大开放和建立社会主义市场经济体制的内在要求。加入世贸组织后,外经贸将会出现业务量增多、贸易主体增多、贸易客户增多、贸易方式增多和利用外资的方式增多等新情况。“入世”对兵团外经贸的发展既有难得的机遇又有严峻的挑战。一、兵团外经贸发展现状分析“九五”期间是兵团外经贸发展的最好时期,实现了高速、跳跃式发展。2000年,兵团外贸进出口总额完成7.53亿美元,比“八五”期末增长2.5倍,年均增长幅度达到30%,其中外贸出口额以36%的速度递增。
China’s accession to the WTO (World Trade Organization) is a major strategic step toward China’s active participation in the process of economic globalization. It is also an inherent requirement of deepening the reform, expanding opening up and establishing a socialist market economic system. After China joins the WTO, there will be new situations such as an increase in business volume, an increase in the number of trade subjects, an increase in trade customers, an increase in the number of trade modes and an increase in the use of foreign investment in foreign trade. “WTO ” has both rare opportunities and severe challenges to the development of the foreign trade and economic cooperation of the Corps. I. Analysis on the Current Situation of Corps for Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation During the “Ninth Five-Year Plan” period, it is the best time for the Corps to carry out foreign trade and economic cooperation and achieved rapid and leapfrog development. In 2000, the total import and export volume of the Corps completed 753 million U.S. dollars, an increase of 2.5 times over the period of “1985” with an average annual growth rate of 30%. The export volume of foreign trade increased at a rate of 36%.
