烟草小孢子囊的发育经历了孢原细胞、造孢细胞和小孢子母细胞等阶段；其雄配子体由１个生殖细胞和１个营养细胞组成，外有２层细胞壁和３个萌发孔。小孢子囊壁中的纤维层由２～３层细胞组成，此与一般被子植物不同。花药成熟时，纤维层细胞的径向壁和内切向壁上有径向条纹状加厚，并木质化。最后还讨论了小孢子囊的内部发育与花的外部形态的关系。
The development of tobacco microsporangia experienced stages of sporogenous cells, sporogenous cells and microspore mother cells. The male gametophyte consisted of one germ cell and one vegetative cell, with two layers of cell wall and three germination pores. The microspore wall in the fibrous layer by 2 to 3 layers of cells, this is different from the general angiosperm. Anthers mature, fibrous layer of cells radial wall and the inner wall to the radial stripes thickening, and lignification. Finally, the relationship between the internal development of microsporangioles and the external appearance of flowers was also discussed.
