On July 24, 2001, the Supreme People’s Court issued a public notice announcing the “Reply of the Supreme People’s Court on Whether civilians should be civilized for violating the constitutional protection of the basic rights of citizens under the power of violating the name right.” The judicial interpretation of this may not have caused much attention to the public, but in the legal profession, the legal profession, especially the influence of the constitutional scholarship is extraordinary. The approval of the Supreme Court is a milestone in our country’s constitutional lawsuit and a precedent for our courts to protect the basic rights of citizens in the constitutional sense through judicial review.
