前记据《史记》和《汉书》等文献记载,在汉魏晋时期有许多少数民族杂居在中国西南地区。当时中国的各个王朝如同其对待北方和南方的诸少数民族一样,对这一地区称之为西南夷的各民族也出于怀柔和赏赐等目的而授予过印玺。本文拟根据西南地区出土的印章来对汉魏晋时期该地区的诸民族从中央各王朝接受的印章做一探讨,同时,欲搞清当时的蛮夷之印
