邓洧从大学开始一直到现在都是以人作为他绘画的主题。但他并没有像许多70后出生的艺术家那样确立某种符号样式,在他的作品中看不到明显的针对性与批判性,“观念”似乎被隐藏。他用温和、雅致的画面色调与敏感的造型手法描述着周围的人,无论是画家本人还是被描绘对象似乎都是以一种淡定、隐约、含蓄的方式呈现。对他而言“画外无话”绘画语言本身即“观念”。这也使得邓洧的作品在当下有了某种独立的价值取向。——郭润文
Deng Kui from the University until now is based on people as the theme of his painting. However, he did not establish some kind of symbolic style as many post-70s artists did. He did not see obvious pertinence and criticalness in his works, and “ideas” seemed to be hidden. He described the people around in a gentle, elegant picture tone and sensitive styling. Both the painter and the depicted object seemed to appear in a calm, vague, subtle way. For him “painting without words ” painting language itself “concept ”.
