学术英语口头演讲是研究生应具备的能力之一。传统的英语口头演讲基本以教师评价为主,学习者的观点并没有纳入评价系统之中。本研究收集了300名具有理工科背景的研究生学术口头演讲的同伴反馈数据,从学习者的角度总结了学术口头演讲的评价要素。数据统计结果发现:学习者评价标准的第一标准是口头演讲的可理解性,即同伴是否能听懂对方的口头报告内容,其他评价要素依次为:流利度、发音、视频辅助工具的使用、观众的眼神交流、提问回答环节和台风。除评价外,评价者还从语法、语音语调和台风方面给予同伴具体的建议。
Oral speech in academic English is one of the abilities that postgraduates should possess. Traditional oral English teaching is mainly based on teacher evaluation, and learners’ opinions are not included in the evaluation system. This study collected peer feedback data of 300 academic oral presentations with a background of science and engineering, and summarized the evaluation elements of academic oral presentations from the perspective of learners. According to the statistic results, the first criterion of learner’s evaluation criteria is the comprehensibility of oral speech, that is, whether companions can understand each other’s verbal reports. Other evaluation factors are: fluency, pronunciation, use of video aids, The eyes of the audience to communicate, ask questions and typhoon links. In addition to the evaluations, the evaluators also give companion concrete suggestions on grammar, phonetic transcription and typhoon.
