锦西炼油化工总厂有离退休职工1500人,其中有技术职称的老年科技工作者410人,而且近期还将有一大批职工陆续退下来,他们为炼化总厂的建设和发展勤奋工作了几十年,做出了很大的贡献。然而离退下来的多数人身体尚好,又都不甘心在家闲居。该厂离退休的领导同志及一些老科技工作者,响应江泽民总书记“二·四”题词的号召,提出办老年经济实体,为离退休职工再做贡献提供场地。他们的建议及时得到了炼化总厂党政领导的全力支持,于1992年10月着手筹建锦西炼油化工总厂金秋实 Jinxi Refining and Chemical Engineering Plant has 1,500 retired employees, including 410 senior technicians with technical titles, and there will be a large number of workers in the near future.
