The integrity of the vestibular organ is important, and in children with congenital malformations of the vestibular system, motor development is delayed. Vestibular systems are often affected in children with congenital deafness, head trauma, ototoxic drug treatment or infection affecting the otic and central nervous systems. The authors did not find references to the standard values of vestibular responses in children under two years of cold and hot and rotation tests. To determine the baseline of the pathologic response and to assess the maturation of the vestibular system in the newborn, the authors conducted a vestibular trial of 276 normal infants at different stages of development of the vestibular nervous system. Babies were divided into four groups according to the number of weeks of gestation and weight at birth: 182 babies with full gestational age (AGA), 32 with full-term full-term infants (LGA), and full term infants under gestation (SGA) 35, premature infant (PR)
