在妊娠期的血浆中能发现很多种类的蛋白质。有的是特异性的,如hCG、hPL、妊娠特异性β_1糖蛋白(pregnancy-specific Bi-glycoprotein,PSBiG)这些蛋白质在非妊娠血浆中不能找到,随着妊娠进展而增加。有的蛋白质和妊娠有联系在非妊娠期血浆中也能发现,如:(1)结合甾体β球蛋白或结合性激素球蛋白(steroid binding B globulin,SBBG或sex hormone binding globulin,SHBG),后者在妊娠8-9周时,血浆浓度为22微克/毫升。在25~29周为76微克/毫升,以后不再上升,它主要由母体肝脏合成,和胎儿胎盘功能无关。(2)和妊娠联合的a_2糖蛋白(preg-nancy associated a_2glycoprotein,PAa_2 G)
