通过分析美国西部地震记录,按照中国场地类别划分标准,把730条三个方向的地震记录按照震级固定,即在某一确定区间内,分别计算三类场地上平均峰值加速度(PGA)随震中距的变化规律.通过分析发现,震中距对其影响非常大,在震级不同、场地类别不同时变化规律不同.同时,值得注意的是两水平方向的PGA变化规律也不同,在具体应用中应该区别对待.另外,竖直方向的PGA与水平方向的比值不能用某个确切的值来表示.
