概率论应用于土工工程是土力学中的一个新课题,本文是关于一个公路路堤下多层地基沉降的概率分析。 文中首先根据沉降计算的基本公式导出了概率计算模型,其中,不仅把土的压缩比、再压缩比、先期固结压力作为随机变量处理,而且也把土层的边界(或土层厚度)作为随机变量处理。文章接着详细地讨论和推导了每一随机变量的期望和方差(或变异系数)的表达式以及各随机变量之间相关性的表达式,并计算了其值。然后根据这些数值和概率分析计算模型求得了不同概率下的沉降区间,文章最后将计算成果与实测值作了对比。 本文的有关工作是在美国俄亥俄州立大学土木工程系吴天行教授指导下进行的。
The application of probability theory to geotechnical engineering is a new topic in soil mechanics. This paper is concerned with the probability analysis of a multi-layer foundation settlement under a highway embankment. In this paper, the probability calculation model is first derived from the basic formula for settlement calculation. The compression ratio, recompression ratio, and preconsolidation pressure of the soil are not only treated as random variables, but also the boundary (or soil thickness) of the soil layer. The article then discusses and derives in detail the expression of the expectation and variance (or coefficient of variation) of each random variable and the expression of the correlation between random variables, and calculates its value. Then based on these numerical and probabilistic analytical calculation models, settlement intervals with different probabilities are obtained. At the end of the paper, the calculated results are compared with the measured ones.
