2010年1月,陕西省考古研究院和咸阳市文物考古研究所对咸阳市底张镇布里村隋元威夫妇墓进行了发掘。该墓为斜坡墓道、多天井的单室土洞墓,平面呈“甲”字形,坐北朝南,水平方向170度。墓葬由墓道、过洞、天井、甬道和墓室构成,水平总长度23.2米,墓道开口距现地表深约0.5米,墓室底距现地表深7.8米。依据陕西省考古研究院和咸阳市考古研究所发表的《隋元威夫妇墓发掘简报》(以下简称《简报》)介绍,在墓室南部、甬道入口处出土两方墓志,皆正方形,出土时志盖覆于志石上,分别为墓主元威及其夫人于宜容的墓志。
In January 2010, the Institute of Archeology of Shaanxi Province and the Institute of Cultural Relics and Archeology of Xianyang City unearthed the Sui Yuanwei couple’s tombs in Buri Village, Bashang Town, Xianyang City. The tomb for the slope of the tomb, a single-room multi-hole soil cave tomb, the plane was “A ” shaped, sitting on the north south, 170 degrees horizontal. The tomb consists of a tomb, a tunnel, a patio, a corridor and a tomb. The total horizontal length is 23.2 meters. The opening of the tomb is about 0.5 meters deep from the current surface. The bottom of the tomb is 7.8 meters deep from the current surface. According to the Briefing of the Sui Yuan Wei couple’s Tomb Excavation published by Shaanxi Provincial Institute of Archeology and the Xianyang Archeology Institute (hereinafter referred to as the Briefing Bulletin), the epitaphs of the two parties unearthed in the entrance to the south of the tomb were all square and unearthed Cover on the stone, respectively, the tomb of Lord Wei and his wife in the Yung Yung’s epitaph.
