何谓拉美国家的太平洋意识?它是指拉美国家对世界经济中心行将转移至太平洋地区和对亚太国家(地区)在世界经济发展中所扮演角色的认同,以及相应表现出的政策倾向。从拉美国家舆论界的观点与官方言论来看,这种意识包括下述要点。 一、太平洋经济区范围的界定。以墨西哥学术界为代表的观点认为,这一区域的范围较广,几乎占世界领土的1/3,人口的40％。就经济与科技发展的重要性而论,这一区域主要包括南朝鲜、新加坡、香港、马来西亚、日本、台湾、中国大陆、美国等。
What is Latin American’s Pacific Consciousness? It refers to the recognition by Latin American countries of the role that World Economic Centers will move to the Pacific region and the economic development of the Asia-Pacific countries in the world economy and the corresponding policy tendencies shown. From the point of view of Latin American media and official statements, this awareness includes the following points. First, the definition of the scope of the Pacific Economic Area. The view, represented by the Mexican academic community, is that the area is a wide area, accounting for almost one third of the world’s territory and 40 per cent of the population. In terms of the importance of economic and technological development, the region mainly includes South Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Japan, Taiwan, Mainland China and the United States.
