转化是数学学习中最常用的一种方法。转化法就是把某一个数学问题,通过数量关系的转化,化陌生为熟悉,化复杂为简单的数学问题来解答。应用题教学的有效转化,就是在解题过程中,不断转化解题方向,从不同的角度、不同的侧面去探讨问题的解法、寻找最佳的方法。有效转化法是数学解题的一个重要技巧,它把生疏的题目转化成熟悉的题目:把繁难的题目转化成简单的题目;把抽象的题目转化为具体的题目;它能分散难点,化繁为简,既拓宽了解题思路,又有利于培养学生思维的深刻性、灵活性和创造性,有迎刃而解的妙处。那么,在应用题教学中如何去实施有效的转化呢?
