Sichuan cuisine as one of the eight characteristics of China’s cuisine, it is world-renowned. In this era of cultural exchange more frequently, the Sichuan cuisine translated into accurate and beautiful English is particularly important. Based on the characteristics of Sichuan vegetable names, this paper classifies them and, under the guidance of Skopos theory, analyzes and summarizes the principles and strategies of English translation of Sichuan vegetable names.
