在国外较广泛地采用旋转式割草机大面积收割饲草。仅西德《法尔》公司1966～1968三年时间就生产和销售这种型式的割草机约四万多台,其中有些属于通用型。该机不仅能收割细软茎秆饲草,而且也可收割较粗硬茎秆饲草,如紫苜蓿和三叶草等。目前,普遍注意的是增加机器的强度,按最低要求减少对机器的技术保养和维修,进一步提高割草机的作业速度。较明显的趋势是增加割幅宽度,突出地是改善拖拉机功率的有效利用问题。各公司
