不久前,某个机关的办公楼不慎失了火。当时的风很大,情况十分危急。在慌乱中,同志们抱起档案柜从窗口扔下楼来。柜子摔破了,档案文件披风吹得到处飞扬,虽经楼外边的同志多方追扑,还是遭受了严重的损失。我认为,从这件事情上可以吸取一个教训:即档案室必须首先作好各项基础工作。比如,档案应该集中统一管理,零散文件要立卷装订,保管要有主次,重要档案应该单独保管,等等。这些不仅是建立档案工作的正常秩序所必须的,更重要的是便于随时应付突然事故。这个机关在抢救档案时所以手忙脚乱,就是因为基础工作太差,平时没有作好应有的准备。他们有几年的档案没
Not long ago, an office building accidentally lost its fire. At that time the wind was very big, the situation was very critical. In confusion, the comrades picked up the filing cabinets and dropped them down from the window. The cupboard broke, and the archives were blown everywhere. Though many of the comrades outside the building chased down, they suffered serious losses. In my opinion, one lesson to be learned from this matter is that the archives must first make all the basic work.
