世界数据中心(WDC——World Data Center)是国际科学联合会理事会(ICSU——Inter－national Council of Scientific Unions)的科学组织之一,其主要职责是按照国科联所认可的程序和标准对有保存和交换价值的地球、空间和环境科学领域的数据进行收集、管理、交换和服务。同时,又应国科联的要求,承担了一系列重要的国际科学计划,如:“国际地圈生物圈计划(全球变化计划)”、“国际岩石圈计划”、“世界气候研究计划”等申明要保存的数据的管理。
The World Data Center (WDC - World Data Center) is one of the scientific organizations of the International Council of Scientific Unions (ICSU - Inter-national Council of Scientific Unions) whose primary responsibility is to follow the procedures and standards recognized by IBC Collection, management, exchange and service of data in the areas of Earth, space and environmental science that preserve and exchange value. At the same time, at the request of the NSCLC, it has undertaken a series of important international scientific programs such as the statement of the International Geosphere Biosphere (Global Change Program), the International Lithosphere Program and the World Climate Research Program Management of data to be saved.
