随着买方市场日趋完善和中国加入WTO步伐的加快,市场竞争日益激烈,市场营销渠道及方式已发生显著的变化,过去那种传统的单打一的营销方式(靠价格优势、广告优势)来独占市场,提高市场占有率,已不适应现代市场发展的需要,代之而来的是营销网络之战;电子商务的运用,以至直销、无货店销售等形式,开始走向市场,并日趋完善。推销观念、推销理念高层次的转变已迫在眉睫,这就需要运用高层次的商业理念、思维方式、高科技技术来指导市场营销活动,从而占领市场。为此,企业要想在国内市场及国际市场上大做文章,市场营销就必须走创新之路,这是大势所趋。
