从菜豆(Phaseolus vulgaris)中提得植物血凝素PHA。用酸性硫酸铵盐析,以25.4—38.1克/ml浓度所得的PHA具有较强的血球凝集活性,同时兼有淋巴细胞的刺激作用。其血球凝集活性要比生理盐水直接提取法所得的PHA强32—64倍。再经DEAE纤维素处理得A、B、C三个峰。其中A和B峰组分经醋酸纤维素薄膜电泳检定为纯一物质,并有较强血球凝集活性。
Phytohemagglutinin PHA was extracted from Phaseolus vulgaris. The PHA obtained by salting out with acidic ammonium sulfate and having a concentration of 25.4 to 38.1 g/ml has a strong hemagglutination activity and also has the stimulation of lymphocytes. The hemagglutination activity is 32-64 times stronger than the PHA obtained by direct extraction with physiological saline. Further DEAE cellulose treatment to A, B, C three peaks. Among them, the peaks of A and B were detected by cellulose acetate membrane electrophoresis as pure substance, and they had strong hemagglutination activity.
