随着教学改革对英语教学要求的逐步提高,实用性、专业性英语成为当前英语教学的重要发展目标,尤其是对于旅游专业的学生,就更是要求体现英语学习的专业性特点,元认知策略在促使学生提升英语实用能力上具有积极的促进作用,是当前旅游专业英语教学的重要指导策略,而且已经开始逐步应用于实践教学,本文我们就对元认知策略在旅游英语学习中的应用现状进行分析,并提出其对帮助学生完善学习计划、提高学生应用旅游英语元认知策略积极性所带来的启示。
