I have always been very interested in the exchange of calligraphy and painting on both sides of the Strait and I always have the respect and conscientiousness towards the institutions and figures that have contributed to this success. As early as seven or eight years ago, he asked Taipei’s galleries and friends a long list of them. Many of them have close contact with the Chinese calligraphy and painting circles. They often hold exhibitions for Chinese artists, publish pictures, and even invite exchanges in the past. Dunhuang Art Center is one of them. The Dunhuang Art Center is located at No. 138, Section 1, Chung Hsiao East Road, Taipei. My colleague Xu Bo, who was interviewed in Taiwan with me, was led by Miss Xie Jinrong, a new news weekly, to see Hong Pingtao, the chairman and general manager of the gallery.
