很高兴参加这次会议,我们是老交情、老相识了。我预祝北京市成人教育学会在已有的基础上继续推动教育科研事业的发展和进一步提高水平,祝这次大会圆满成功。这次参加七届人大、政协一次会议使我联想到一些问题。第一点,对成人教育的再认识问题。这次两个会议议论比较多的热门话题之一是呼吁进一步重视教育。重视教育的内容又集中反映在教育经费和教师的地位、待遇上。这些问题确实存在,应该解决。李鹏总理在七届人大会后答记者问时已说明,随着经济的发展,国家和地方都要逐步增加教育投资,但希望在近期内有较大的增加是不可能的。因此,发展教育要作为全社会的一件大事,要依靠全社 Glad to attend this meeting, we are old friends and acquaintances. I wish this conference a complete success. This time participating in the Seventh National People’s Congress and a CPPCC meeting reminds me of some issues. The first point is the re-recognition of adult education. One of the hot topics discussed more frequently at the two conferences is the call for more emphasis on education. Emphasis on education is also reflected in the concentration of education funding and the status of teachers, treatment. These problems do exist and should be solved. The fact that Premier Li Peng answered questions after the Seventh National People’s Congress has illustrated that with the economic development, both the state and local governments should gradually increase investment in education.
