RCA是世界上研制肖脱基势垒单片式IRCCD器件时间最长、研究器件最多的公司。据IEEE Trans.ED,Vol.ED-32 №8.(1985)报导,RCA于1985年上半年又研制出了160×244元的PiSi肖脱基势垒单片式IRCCD焦而阵列,这比该公司1982年研制的64×128元的器件大大地前进了一步,其集成度提高了1倍,从而实现了红外摄象的标准TV隔行扫描工作(f/2.3光学)。这是世界上第一个工作于3-5μm波段的最大IRCCD焦面阵列。器件的主要特点和性能参数如下:
