Tanks, like other weapons, are the product of the war. In the early days of World War I, machine guns, barbed wires and trenches were widely used in battlefields to tilt the “balances” of both the offensive and defensive sides to one side of the “keep”. Thus, there is an urgent need for an offensive weapon to break the deadlock in positional warfare. The development of modern internal combustion engines, crawler belts, artillery and armor technologies has provided the material basis for the birth of this new type of weapon. Thus, the tank came into being.
