岛状癌，一种少见的甲状腺癌，首由Carcangiu于1984年描述，具有小而相同细胞组成界限明显的癌岛、常伴肿瘤坏死区和具甲状腺球蛋白的微滤泡等特点，其周围有少细胞的纤维组织，预后不佳。作者在西班牙Murcia大学外科1970～1993年的335例甲状腺癌中发现6例岛状癌，平均年龄32．
Insular carcinoma, a rare type of thyroid cancer, first described by Carcangiu in 1984, has small but identical boundaries of cancer cells, often associated with tumor necrosis, and microfibrosis with thyroglobulin. There are few cell fibrous tissues and the prognosis is poor. The author found 6 cases of island cancer in 335 cases of thyroid cancer from 1970 to 1993 at the University of Murcia, Spain. The average age was 32.
