The epic fantasy novels of Anglo-American feature large characters, large numbers of people, large time span and spectacular scenes. The most prominent feature is the unusually rich and vivid portrayal of their background. The reason is that the author uses the strategy of narrative space to be realistic to highlight the novel’s “Realism ”. Therefore, from the perspective of “Lord of the Rings” and “song of ice and fire”, this thesis focuses on the characteristics of spatial narration in the epic novels of Anglo-American and Epic, exploring how this unique fantasy genre uses narrative space to construct texts Authenticity.
