在艺术的范畴中,波德莱尔对于美的定义显然不同于他的同时代艺术家们。他的目的是创造一种美。当然美的定义各有不同。在波德莱尔看来,美善不受制于时代的车轮滚滚。善并不等于美,而丑恶也并不等于罪恶。在美善与丑恶的两个世界中,诗人遵循自身的理念穿梭自如。这一种穿越,不光是穿越自己的精神世界和现实世界,也是将情绪与精神理念从自己的世界传递给诗作的读者们。
In the category of art, Baudelaire’s definition of beauty is clearly different from his contemporaries. His purpose is to create a beauty. Of course, the definition of beauty is different. In Baudelaire’s view, beauty is not driven by the wheels of the times. Good does not mean beauty, and ugliness does not mean evil. In the two worlds of beauty and ugliness, poets follow their own ideas and travel freely. This kind of traversing is not only traversing one’s own spiritual world and the real world, but also readers who pass emotions and spiritual concepts from one’s own world to poetry.
