日本广播公司(NHK)和池上通信机公司研制成一种 HM~87HS 型超高灵敏度摄象机。该机在 CCD 成象器的前面装有微通道板(MCP)象增强器,与常规电视摄象机相比,灵敏度提高了2500多倍。所用象增强器为邻近聚焦型,成象器为具有400000象素的帧隔行传输CCD。通过改变光电阴极和 MCP 荧光屏之间的高压很容易将摄象机的灵敏度控制在20~250倍以上。信噪比高达58dB,极限分辨率为380电视行。该摄象机重8公斤,可以作为便携式摄象机使用,或者与一个 VTR 部件组合作为摄象一录象机使用。该摄象机的功耗为21W。
Japan Broadcasting Corporation (NHK) and Ikegami communications company developed a HM ~ 87HS-type ultra-high sensitivity camera. The machine is equipped with a microchannel plate (MCP) image intensifier on the front of the CCD imager, which increases the sensitivity by more than 2,500 times compared to conventional TV cameras. The image intensifier used was a near-focus type and the imager was a frame-interleaved CCD with 400,000 pixels. By changing the high voltage between the photocathode and the MCP screen, it is easy to control the sensitivity of the camera above 20 to 250 times. SNR up to 58dB, the ultimate resolution of 380 TV lines. The camera weighs 8 kg and can be used as a camcorder or in combination with a VTR unit as a camcorder. The camera’s power consumption is 21W.
