课程游戏化是一个质量工程,其最核心的目的是让幼儿园课程更加贴近幼儿的实际发展水平,贴近幼儿的学习特点,贴近幼儿的生活及兴趣与需要。课程游戏化并不是把所有活动都变为游戏,而是确保基本的游戏活动时间,同时又把游戏的理念、精神渗透到课程实施的各类活动中,其中包括一日生活、区域活动、集体教学活动等。课程游戏化也不是重新设计一套游戏化课程,是对幼儿园现有课程的提升、改造和完善。
