我矿己有六十多年的开采历史,岩石中含二氧化矽高达70—90％,因此,不少职工患了矽肺病。据统计患矽肺病的职工共××××人,其中已牺牲×××人。 在毛主席革命路线的指引下,我矿党委坚决贯彻“预防为主”的方针,在积极防止矽尘危害的同时,对患矽肺病的职工,不断加强政治思想工作,适当照顾生活,搞好治疗管理,以坚定矽肺病人的斗争意志,稳定或延缓矽肺进展,延长矽肺病人的寿命。一九七六年,矽肺发病率、矽肺病人死亡率较一九六五年大有下降,调动了职工群众的积极性,推动了矿山的革命和生产,显示了社会主义制度的无比优越。
