1 新时期的文学从“十年空白”的底层喷发而出,作家也喷发而出。文学要延续自己,作家却应该不断突破自己;因为文学的延续是以作家个体的自身突破为动力的。一个作家要突破自己很难;但是一个作家也只有真正地突破了自己,这才标志着他的创作具有一种内在的生命力。——这就是郑万隆的短篇小说近作给我的第一个感想。这里要说的是艺术表现中的“简化”手段,一种在生活和艺术之间,由繁到简(由生活的繁上升到艺术的简)和由简到繁(用艺术的简去涵盖生活的繁)的反方向运动。——这又是郑万隆
